The Petőfi Birthplace and Memorial Museum in Kiskőrös
Sándor Petőfi was born on January 1, 1823, in the rural community of Kiskőrös, Hungary. He is one of the greatest Hungarian poets and a revolutionary who symbolized the Hungarian desire for freedom.
